White teas are considered by some to be the purest in the world. Spring buds are plucked, dried and sorted~no pan firing, steaming, or fermentation. Just pure tea! Traditionally these are grown on small freehold plots~some growers produce only a few hundred pounds per year. White tea has a very high polyphenol count.
Our estate tea comes from several regions of India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, and Africa. The tea is grown on estates with excellent track records of ethics and environmental stewardship.

Rooibos is an environmentally sensitive plant that is grown commercially only in South Africa's Cederberg district. The soil conditions, rainfall and sunshine of the district cannot be duplicated anywhere else on earth. Environmental controls in the area are stringent, as growers are vigilant about making sure the Cederberg ecosystem isn't tampered with or altered. Rooibos is caffeine free, and loaded with polyphenols, and naturally occurring iron, zinc, fluoride, calcium, and magnesium.
Most of our Wellness teas are very high in antioxidants, or consist of healthy herbs which can be calming and effective for digestion. *Healthy tip: Regular cups of tea can help speed recovery from stress according to researchers from the University College London. www.sciencedaily.com/ releases/2006/10/061004173749.htm
